Concealed Weapon Holsters

There are many different types of law enforcement holsters available for the wide variety of work these agencies perform. Law enforcement holsters are typically referred to as duty holsters and can be visible or concealed, according to need. Detectives and undercover police officers typically carry concealed weapons while uniformed officers on beats usually have their weapons visible.

Law enforcement holsters are unique to the types of guns they will carry. There are law enforcement holsters for such gun brands as:

  • Walther
  • Sig Sauer
  • Beretta
  • Smith and Wesson

Law Enforcement Holsters for All Police Organizations

According to the 2004 Law Enforcement Officers Protection Act that was passed by Congress, law enforcement officers may carry concealed weapon in any state, regardless of that state's concealed weapon laws. Most states require private citizens to be licensed in order to carry a hidden gun. Due to the nature of law enforcement, particularly for national organizations like the FBI and CIA that require state-to-state work, it is not practical for those officers to become licensed in all states. The 2004 act allows officers to do their work without risk of being arrested by local police for not having the proper weapons permits.

Unlike weapons, which often have restrictions on state-to-state shipment, firearm accessories can usually be sent to any state without special permits being required. This allows Aso Tactical to work with law enforcement organizations around the country. Aso Tactical is a retailer of firearm accessories for all types of guns, including Berettas, Walthers, Sig Sauers and more.
